Webb Shotgun Tournament

Get ready for a lot of pictures. Too many cute ones not too include them all! Last weekend was the annual shotgun tournament and a wedding shower for our sweet cousins Zac and Lindsay. Yes...I said cousins. Lindsay is my cousin and Zac is Landon's cousins. We set them up on a blind date over a year ago and they are getting married next weekend! We can hardly believe it! They are so in love and so adorable! The boys had a great time shooting and Grae thought he was sooo BIG! What sweet memeories as always! I love the picture of Grae and Landon shooting together. So cute!

Crazy Cookie Time!

One of my most favorite things to do with Grae is to cook! He loves to help and is so patient while helping me measure and pour! These cookies were so much fun because they didn't have to be perfect...just what we needed. It was circus week at his school so we though some crazy cookies for his friends would be fun! I can't wait to have two boys on the counter with me while I cook. Their future wife's will be blessed with boys that know how to cook!! :) (Thanks mom and dad for teaching me well! I owe it all to you!!)

Spa Day with the Girls!

What a sweet day! We celebrated birthdays for my gramma and sister at the Spa at Rough Creek Lodge. We crammed as many memories as we could into that day. From the minute we got into the car there was laughter. My Gramma is turning 76 this month but is going on 40 and my sister...well...not sure how old she is...wink,wink but she is as beautiful as ever! We started the day at the spa getting massage's and ended it with a yummy lunch and presents. Look at the adorable cake my sweet friend Heather made! It was the perfect cake!! We talked until our mouths were tired but that didn't stop us from going to a few shops on our way home!

I thank God for these girls and what they have meant to me over the years. I have been blessed to have Godly women like my mom, sister and gramma in my life. I am a better wife to Landon, a better mom to my boys and a better friend to others because of them. I love you girls so much! I can't wait until next year!

A moment that I wish would stand still

God is working daily on my heart. He reveals his goodness to me daily and shows me how great life really is even in our not so "beautiful" of times. Landon took a picture of the boys and me all snuggled up in a chair last night. We were talking and doing some late night snuggling. Oh how I wish time would have stopped in that very moment and I could record Grae's adorable voice and Will's sweet cooing. In that moment God showed me what a gift it really is to be a mom. I looked awful just getting out of the bath and yet my kids couldn't get enough of me. I just sat still and soaked them in. It made me wonder if that is one of God's favorite moments with me. When I can just sit and soak Him in and He can do the same with me? I went back and forth as to whether I would post this lovely picture of myself when I realized the memory of those few moments far out weighed whether I had make-up on or not. My boys love me just as I am. How blessed I am.

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

Oklahoma Trip

A 4 hour trip with a baby...piece of cake! (If you have a sweet Mimi in the car!) We had such a great time with my Gramma and Aunt (Teri the Tiger as Grae calls her). We shopped until our feet were numb and loved every minute of it! Everytime I make a trip to Oklahoma I am reminded of such sweet memories from my childhood. Even the way my Gramma's house smells reminds me of something. I walked thru the front door and I am immediately 5 years old again standing on the stool in kitchen helping her cook or drawing on my Grandpa's arm with a pen that left ink for weeks. (My poor gramma) That had to have been my Grandpa's favorite thing in the world. The same reason why he loved for me to draw on his arm and also why it took him at least 20 minutes to drive me to school some mornings when it was only a 5 minute trip. He loved every minute we spent with him. He was NEVER too busy and always made me feel like I was the most important person in the world when I was with him. I am always asking my gramma questions about their life together even before I was born to make sure I have plenty of memories to hang on to one day. We are so blessed to have been able to name our sweet Will after my Grandpa. William Jack. What a great man and a beautiful legacy he left.

Playdough Night

Grae's favorite thing to do is to pull out the playdough! Here are some of his latest creations. Snakes are a personal favorite of his! Such a mess but sooo much fun!

Family Trip

We took a short but much needed family trip to San Antonio with my sweet parents! It was our first mini vacation with all four of us! After packing...which was interesting with a newborn...we were on our way! Grae was so excited he could hardly stand it! Grae was an absloute angel riding down there and during the trip. Will...well...the carseat is not his favorite place to be. Landon and I often looked at each other during the drive with him screaming in the background thinking...seriously...4 hours of this? But, we managed to get there and went straight to the lazy river. Grae was so proud of his swim tube. He never got tired of showing off and must have gone around the lazy river at least a hundred times. Will and I spent time under the cabana watching our boys swim by. Thank you Mimi and Papaw for all your help! It wouldn't have been as much fun without you both! Such sweet memories!
